Open again: Retro Store and Pub
Store near the apartment
This small supermarket, which is very close to the apartment, was open during my childhood but then remained closed for a long time. In 2024 it is open again, which is more, a pub is added.
They are open from 1st May to the end of September, but if you want to be sure, check their Google My Business profile or Facebook page.
Incredible selection in a small space
It’s reassuring that such a small place has such a wide selection, so if you don’t want to or can’t shop at a larger supermarket, you can definitely rely on this store! They have great pastries, a wide range of drinks, fruit, puzzle magazines, and all sorts of goodies!
It’s a very wise decision that half of their freezer capacity is dedicated to ice cream – rightly so. In the other freezer, you’ll find everything from frozen chestnut purée to pre-cooked, breaded meats and pizzas, so you can quickly whip up breakfast, lunch, or anything else – even if the snack bars aren’t open on weekdays.
Next to the ABC, there’s a pub, and I’ve heard that sometimes they have live music to go along with the draught beers… Be sure to check out Dessewffy Street 26!

How to get there?
Turn left at the garden gate, then left again, and the store is on the corner in the first junction.
